Always worth a journey! Good Baden cuisine and excellent: Leberle with fried potatoes! It couldn't be better!

The food was very tasty. The Nierle and the Sulz are recommended. Nice setvice worker. We would like to come again.

It was our first time at the Ochsen restaurant in Wasser bei Emmendingen. And definitely not the last time. Good home-style Baden cuisine at its best. The spaetzle, the homemade potato salad and the croquettes are particularly recommended. Unfortunately, I didn't have any fries, but just how they looked. Hmmmmm ..... My friend had the cordon bleu which he said was very good. (Why didn't he let me try) The service is very friendly and courteous. Overall, very great family atmosphere. There are also places outside, but you should reserve in advance. The toilets are accessible at ground level, which is good for people with limited mobility. Water is easily accessible by car, but there is also a bus stop nearby if you want to travel by public transport. The Gasthaus Ochsen is highly recommended. You feel in good hands. We'll be back and that's the fault of the homemade potato salad. 🙂

The cleanliness left a lot to be desired. The food is nothing special and overpriced We had homemade dumplings with chanterelles and a salad in front. "17.50 euros"

Very good home cooking! All dishes are excellent and everything is freshly cooked and fried like at mother's home !! Starting with the noodle soup, which is a real beef soup, the salad, which is freshly harvested in your own garden, over the Leberle with fried potatoes, or a schnitzel with pepper sauce, not to forget the excellent potato salad and much more. m !! I can recommend the Limberger family with a clear conscience! In order not to forget the service, very attentive and friendly staff! Keep it up!!

A good old-fashioned Gasthaus with terrific schnitzel! Recommend you book a table on the weekend as it is a popular local watering hole.

Home-style cooking in good quality, fresh crunchy salad, fine fried potatoes. Highly recommended. Only the service is not quite equal to the rush, so it sometimes takes a bit longer.

I love this place and it has become our go to restaurant for true 'badisch' food. Their sour liver is one of the best I had, the kidney version is great too though more for people with a particular taste, the green salad comes at under 3,00 and tastes like my grandpa made it, and the roasted potatoes are the thinnest I have ever seen. Gotta love the old plates and retained 70/80s flair too.
